3-8-03... Hi Everybody! What a Day!! I got to the Nashville Fairgrounds and Riverview in Carthage, and Gee what a Good Turn Out... Both Places!  I saw a lot of old friends from last season, and saw some from last season who had changed divisions or changed tracks. Best of Luck to All of You!-) I've met a lot of New friends too! I think that of the things I Love Most about stock car racing, is the 'families'! And I've even met some drivers who are 10 years old! You Go Guys! (and Gals!-)
I will be going to Both the Fairgrounds And Riverview this season. I 'might' even find my way up to Bowling Green (if I can get syked up for that long drive:) Oh, and I'm going to make a race or two at the SuperSpeedway too, out here near where I live! That should be a New Adventure for me!-) 
Riverview will be practicing again next Saturday from 10am til 6pm, but someone told me Fairgrounds would not (but check that one out to be sure!) Everyone got so into practicing at RVS that we took up a collection so we could get the lights turned on and do some Night Practicing; that was Almost like being at the Races again! And WELCOME All you Drivers who are New the RVS! as Well as the Fairgrounds!  Some of the drivers tonight told me Duck River was having their First race of the season tonight, but I sadly didn't get to make it up there. I used to really Love to go to the duck and what the action! Well, I hope to see you all at Riverview next weekend! Til Then Take Care:-)
And for those of you who May Not Know Yet, I Finally got the "Middle Tennessee Racing News" Website UP and running, and Angie is doing one heck of a job of keeping the latest news posted on it. So Check it out!
2-22-03... Riverview Awards Banquet had a Great Turnout!  
The Points Awards banquet for Riverview Speedway drivers was held Saturday 2-22-03 at the Al Menah Shrine Center on Brick Church Pike in Nashville, and had a Tremendous Turn Out!! 
And Gee it was Really Good to See Everyone Again! Winter has been Sooo Long and I've missed you guys!;-)
Most Everyone was there to claim their trophies and have their moment of fame, as well as family, crews and friends to show their support.  
James Climer was given a standing ovation! Guess that's what happens when your old as racing itself and still going strong! Hang in there James:-)  
Many  of the drivers had plaques and trophies made to show their appreciation of others who had given them great support thru the 2002 racing season.   
And I believe I saw a few tears of joy in the eyes of some family members and friends who were just Bursting with Pride of Their Points Winner!  Ain't Love Grand!-)
Awards were given back thru 5th place in all the divisions.

9-18-02... Hi Guys! Well I Finally got it Up! uh "Stormy's Racin Station" that is:-) http://www.racinstation.net and it's in it's Own domain space now! But it will Always Be 'Under Construction' where we (You & Me) will continue to add links and things of interest to everyone!  I have researched and placed a TON of racing, car, parts and all kind of interesting Links here for your convenience, but if You know of a link I've overlooked, or have a favorite link you'd like to see on the RacinStation, drop me an eMail and send me the link and I'll add it!  Stormy@stormys.biz  And I'm going to even work toward have our Own 'eMail' here at the RacinStation where you can get YourName@RacinStation.net! I have quite a few bbs and message boards listed now, but 'maybe' if we ALL promise to be nice, we can have our Own RVS message board! 
You know, we've had some Really Great Racin at RiverView Speedway this 2002 season, and even tho I'm glad the weather is finally going to cool down some (I hope), I am dreading when we run the last race of the season which is only a month or so away! Gee winter will be boring without all you guys to bug!'-) 
Oh, and that gives me the opportunity to Plug my PhotoGraphicS and clocks and souvenir items; they make Great Christmas Gifts!!!
And while you guys are getting your cars ready during the winter for the 2003 season when the season is over; it will ALSO be a Great Time for you to get with me about YOUR WEBSITE for the 2003 Season! I, like you, will have more time during the off season to do some really class websites for you guys. From a simple one page web, up to a multi page Custom WebSite with Custom Graphics and Logos! So keep that in mind as the season winds down.

Oh, and I Finally Found Out how you can get the "Middle Tennessee Racing News" MAILED Directly to your home! I spoke with Terrell Davis, the paper's owner last weekend, and he told me that they could mail the paper out to you for only $30 a year! Just Think, no more trying to find which market has any left!!!   If you like, I will collect the money and complete mailing information from any of you that might want the paper delivered and will get the money and mailing info to Terrell for you. He is a Very Busy Guy and is often hard to catch I have discovered! But if nothing else, I will set it up so I can pay him your money online via PayPal! Then I don't have to catch him, he only has to check his mail and his bank account!:-)  And if it's easier for any of you guys, you can send me the $30 'online' with a credit card or electronic bank transfer too!  I have been a "Verified PayPal User" since April 2000! (Which means I'm Honest and Been here a while!;-)
