8-16-03 - Clarksville Speedway - Randle Sweeney and Demo Derby
provide excitement for the fans.
With the anticipation of the Demo cars at intermission the fans filled the grandstands even in the turn three/four bleachers. The night was a success for some and a not so good
night for others. During hot laps Justin Rapp, tagged the wall in turn three and four hard enough to spin him around and end up on top of the fence, unable to return for the rest
of the night. During qualifying, David Flowers (99) came out in his Red colored Open Wheel and set a quick time of 14.032 sec. During
Late Model qualifying, the 33 Burr Motorsports Red Ford Machine being driven by Randle Sweeney set the lightening quick time of 12.749 sec. And then in Pro Street qualifying it
was the RC1 of Brian Caudle setting a quick time of 14.439 sec.
First out of the chute for the heat races were the Street Stock division. Dorris McCord (45) showed his strength as he led the first heat around to the checkered flag. In heat two it was the D4 of Sam Morgan showing the way. Heat three went to Michael Sholar driving the 1M.
Heat four was led to the checkered by Dale Phillips in his 87 Camero.
Open Wheel quick six dash was next on the schedule with Wally Walker showing the way. The pole setter, David Flowers had his motor expire.
The heat race went to Michael Lee in his Black 55.
The Late Model quick six dash came out next, with Tony Albright (1) showing that his is a threat anytime he is in his own car. Darrell Brown in his 33T took the checkered
flag of the only heat race for the Late Models.
The Pro Street quick six qualifier came out next, with the RC1 of Brian Caudle showing the way. The first heat race went to the pole setter of Lucas Lee (55), with heat two
going to Matt Potter (64) who also started on the pole.
Mini Modified division heat races were the last to be completed, with the first heat going to Floyd Clinard, Jr. in the 05, and heat two going to Dale McCord in the 31. Keep
in mind McCord had the use of both hands but in the accident he had last weekend he suffered a broken wrist and had a brace on that arm this weekend.
So with intermission came the Demo Derby, after about thirty minutes of crashing and banging in the turn one and two end of the infield it was the 36C of Mike Coomer of Elkton, Ky finally fighting through the whole
derby and finally flipping Bobby Law in the 22 over to finish. Congratulations to Mike and the Derby folks for putting on one awesome display of how to legally get away with
beating and banging.
On to the feature events of the night. First feature on the schedule was the Open Wheels. Thank you to Scott Hesse for letting
David Flowers use his car for the feature because of the point’s race. The real success story of the night came from the Lee racing camp; Michael Lee (55) came from the seventh
starting position to get another win on the season. He was followed to the strip by Mike Neighbors (711N), Charles Zimmerman (93), Mike Sweeney (25S) and Gerald Hodge (10)
rounding out the top ten.
The next feature that came out was the Late Models. Albright and Sweeney on the front row we knew it was going to be a battle. Albright
low side Sweeney top side then a switch of grooves during the race led to more excitement but it was Randle Sweeney in the 33 showing the was to the strip. Albright followed
Sweeney for second. Gaining fast on the leaders was Gary Frost (F14), but the race was a few laps short for him to catch up only to finish in the third spot. Mike Chandler (51) finished up the night finishing in the fourth spot and Shawn Granderson (41) rounded out the top five after a few weeks of not racing with us.
Brian Caudle (RC1) raced to another victory in the Pro Street division. He was followed by the 98 of Tommy Harris who came home second.
Larry Hamm in the 93 finished up in the third spot with Murdock Russell in the 69 car finishing up in the fourth spot. And Jeff Joiner in the 24 rounded out the top five.
Two features on tap in the Street Stock division. The first feature went to Dorris McCord in his Red 45 machine. The H55 of Ronnie Hedgepath finished up in the second spot, and Roy Brewington (117) came home in the third spot. Feature two was won by
Dale Phillips (87) with Don Everett (9) trailing close behind. Sam Morgan in the D4 finished up in the third spot.
Then Dale McCord topped the Mini Modified division feature race with Floyd Clinard, Jr in the 05 taking home a second. Michael Rittenberry (g3/10) ending the night in third
and Billy Carter in the 22 wrapping up fourth. Don Donegan (54) rounded out the top five.
Another exciting weekend at the track for the fans and the racing teams has come to a close, like they say it’s all over but the crying. Shake the bad off and start over
next weekend is what my father used to say. Thank you to all the local supporters and fans that came out this weekend and we hope to see you again this coming weekend “At the
Track”

Double
Features prove to be one exciting night of racing, and big payout for
Proctor.
First order of business on tap for this double feature night of
racing was the rained out features from the 2 nd of Aug.
Mini Mods came out first after hot laps.
Ronnie Richardson (15) came out on top, with Floyd Clinard, Jr.
(05) coming home in second.
Dale McCord (31) ended up in the third spot with Daryl Johnson
(30) finishing out in fourth, and Michael Dial (Z2) finishing out the
top five.
The UMP Late Models came out next to give the track a go around
for their rained out feature of 20 Laps.
Pole sitter Chuck Proctor (27) took home the big money with the
first spot, with Randle Sweeney (33) trailing close behind.
Ralph Wiles (63) finished up in third, Richard Frost (15) taking
home fourth and Mike Chandler (51) rounding up the top five.
Pro Street Stocks came out third on the rainout feature lineup.
Matt Potter (64) came out on top, and the 98 of Tommy Harris
finished up second.
The 44 of Tyrone Dossett finished up third. Fourth place was
earned by Larry Hamm (93), and Don Young took his 41 machine to the
fifth spot.
The last rainout feature was the Street Stock division.
Dorris McCord (45) showed the field to the checkered flag for the
first spot; Roy Brewington (117) came home in second.
Don Everett (9) finished up in the third spot, Ronnie Hedgepath
(H55) topped out in fourth and Matt Musser in the (8) finished out the
top five.
Now on to the festivities for this weeks racing action.
All I can say it was a night of substitutions.
In the UMP Late Model qualifying it was Ralph Wiles driving his
car with the F14 of Gary Frost on the side, setting the fast time.
His time at the stripe was 13.280 sec.
During UMP Open Wheel time trials it was Michael Lee in the 55
setting a fast time of 14.014 sec.
Then Larry Hamm (93) set the quick time for the Pro Street
Division with a time of 14.572.
The only heat races we ran were for those sanctioned by UMP, the
Late Models and Open Wheels.
During the Open Wheel quick six-dash pole setter Michael Lee (55)
showed the other five how to get to the checkered flag the fastest.
In the Heat race it was Curtis Rodenhader (28) who came around
turn four to the flag the fastest.
In the Late Model quick six dash, the 33 of Randle Sweeney showed
the way.
Perry McClain in the 57 topped the only other heat race for the
Late Models.
Pro Streets kicked off the feature events for the night after a
brief intermission and a few rides in the Ride Along car from some of
the fans.
Matt Potter (64) after starting in the fifth spot battled for 15
laps to claim the victory.
Don Young (41) who started sixth followed Potter up through the
field to finish in the second spot.
Lucas Lee (55) came from the eighth spot to claim the third spot
and Larry Hamm fell back three spots to the fourth spot.
Larry Barbur, Jr. (54) climbed up to the fifth spot rounding out
the top five.
The Mini Mods came out next with Don Donegan (54) showing the way
in the top spot.
Floyd Clinard, Jr (05) showed up in the second spot and Ronnie
Richardson (15) brought home a third.
Stan Ferry (2) came home fourth with Daryl Johnson (30) rounding
out the top five.
Michael Lee in the (55) topped the Open Wheel field at the end of
the race.
Now here is the amazing part about the field of Modifieds, on the
start Mike Neighbors (711N) was involved in an accident and broke some
left front end pieces went to the rear of the field and then battled
back to fight for the third spot until spinning in the last lap only to
finish tenth.
Another amazing story for this race is that the fourth spot
starter of David Flowers (99) after battling for the lead takes a wild
ride on the turn four wall, brings out the caution and goes to the rear
of the field and once again not giving up and finishes the night off
with a second.
Charles Zimmerman (93) came home in third; the 77 of Clayton
Miller came home in fourth.
Mike Sweeney (25S) finished up in the fifth spot rounding out the
top five.
In the Late Model feature it was once again Chuck Proctor (27)
showing the way after a good battle with Randle Sweeney (33) who finally
finished up in the second spot.
Mike Chandler (51) who started fourth moved up one spot to finish
third.
Eddie Pace driving for Tony Albright in his (1) car finished up a
strong fourth place, and Ralph Wiles driving for Gary Frost in his own
63/F14 rounded out the top five.
The last feature of the night was the Street Stocks.
Doris McCord (45) once again showed the way to the checkered
flag.
Don Everett (9) brought home a second place, Dale Phillips (87)
moved up to the third spot.
The 38X of Buster Smith finished in the fourth spot and Roy
Brewington (117) rounded out the top five.
Thank you to all the fans and drivers who support us every
weekend and make sure to come out this weekend while we have a Demo
Derby going on with all regular racing action.

Clarksville
Speedway Results 7-19-03 - Chandler
shows the way, with a new points leader.
A night of surprises and $1.00 Hot Dogs at
Clarksville Speedway. With
the Buds points battle close in the UMP Late Models coming into tonight,
one might think that it would be another walk away by the reigning
champion Tony Albright, but that was not to be true when he broke during
qualifying. Albright
set fast time in the first lap of his qualifying run but never made the
second. So that put
Mike Chandler (51) who set second quick, on the front row for the Quick
Six Dash. So with
Albright out of the picture tonight it was anyone’s game.
During line up in staging Frost was late so he ended up having to
start in the back row, leaving Chandler and Richard Frost on the front row
for the start. Mike
Chandler shows the crowd that he is also a force to be contended with here
at Clarksville Speedway, taking the win of the Dash.
Ralph Wiles (63) took the heat race over a stellar field of late
models. In feature
action, Chandler carried over the speed from the dash right into the
feature with the first win of the season.
Gary Frost (F14) was challenging for the lead when in turn 4 got a
little sideways and stalled the car leaving him to finish in the fourth
spot but taking over the points lead by 11 points.
Wiles finished third, William McClain (57) finished third and
Richard Frost (15) finished fifth rounding out the top five.
Charles Zimmerman show the fans how to take
the UMP Open Wheel around the quarter mile the fastest, setting a time of
13.906 on his second lap. In
the quick six dashes it was Mike Sweeney (25S) showing the way after
starting second. In
heat race action Tim Dierlam (8C) led the entire race until he spins on
last lap and Corey Schmidt (19) passed without delay to take the checkered
flag. In feature action
it was Charles Zimmerman (93) finish on top after Michael Lee spins with
two to go. Schmidt
finishes second, David Flowers (99) stop in third, Barry Elliot (88)
finish fourth and Gerald Hodges (10) round out the top five.
Pro Street action began with one lap
qualifying, with the RC1 of Brian Caudle setting quick time.
Caudle ended up winning the quick six dash.
Lucas Lee (55) took home a victory in the heat race, starting in
the fourth spot. Feature
action saw the return of Tyrone Dossett (44) who finished a strong second,
but the win went to Caudle. Matt
Potter (64) took home third, while Larry Hamm (93) settled for fourth and
Don Young (41) sporting the new look took home fifth.
Dale Phillips (87) took the first spot in
Street Stock heat race one, the winner of heat two was Roy Brewington
(117), and the winner of the third heat was the 8 of Matt Musser.
After breaking Phillips would be nowhere around come finish time
which is a surprise around here, with Dorris McCord (45) taking the
familiar red rocket to victory lane.
Roy Brewington finished in second, Ronnie Hedgepath in his H55 in
the third spot, Jennifer Larsen (J25) fell in at the fourth spot and 1H of
Randi Hesse finished the top five.
Ronnie Richardson and Dale McCord take home
the Mini Stock heat race victories, making for an up front battle come
feature time. But it
was McCord showing the way in his 31.
Floyd Clinard, Jr in the 05 bring up second, Don Donegan (54) come
home in third. Richardson
would end up coming home in fourth and the 10 of Michael Rittenberry
rounded out the top five.
Don’t forget about the Demo Derby on Aug 16
th. Every Sunday
go-kart races here on the big track.

7-5-05 - Clarksville Speedway -
Not enough in two-lap shoot out for Frost and Johnson, Albright wins
another. The night started
off the same as usual at Clarksville Speedway except the Street Stock
Division got to show their speed with one lap qualifying, instead of the
normal routine of Pro Streets. It was a big night for the Streets, in
that they were fighting for $500 to win. In Street qualifying it was
Doris McCord setting the fast time of 15.772 sec around the quarter mile
track. David Flowers set quick time in the Open Wheels with a time of
14.253 sec. Gary Frost set the quick time in the Late Models with a time
of 13.389 sec.
With Bud qualifying over its racing time, with the heat races started by
the Mini Stock drivers. The 13x of Brian Smith took the first heat race
of the night in the Mini Mods.
The Street Stock Division came out next with their quick six dash. The
ultimate track rival in this class is between McCord (45) and Phillips
(87), and they both start on the front row of the dash. But Ronnie
Hedgepath in the H55 took the victory after both were involved in a
caution. In heat race one it was Gary Johnson (73) and Keith Worley
(10W) on the front row. It was Worley taking the win. In heat race two
Henry Gibbs (75) and Jennifer Larson (J25) on the front row with Gibbs
taking home the win in the finish.
Driving to the win on the high side of the track was David Flowers (99)
in the Open Wheel Dash, after challenges from Michael Lee (55). Tim
Dierlam (8C) took home the win in the heat race.
In the Late Models, it was Tony Albright (1) taking home the victory
after starting on the outside pole, but not without challenges from Mike
Chandler (51) and Gary Johnson (20). Rand Richardson (25) and Justin
Rapp (17R) start the front row of the heat race, with Richardson taking
the win after the race leader spins and does not bring out the caution.
The Pro Street division was the last class to run heat races tonight
with the RC1 of Brian Caudle taking home the win from the outside pole.
They drew a pill for their starting spots tonight.
Before the fireworks and the walk around the speedway, we ran the Mini
Mods feature. Ronnie Richardson (15) took home the victory, making a
total of five feature wins for the season. The rest of the top five was
Smith (13x), Clinard, Jr (05), McCord (31), and Ferry (2).
After the intermission and fireworks, it was the Street Stock $500 to
win feature race with Doris McCord in the 45 taking home the big check,
Everett (9) came home in second and Phillips (87) holding the third
spot. Hedgepath (H55) and Gibbs (75) hold down the top five.
Three wide racing in the Open Wheel Division, with Sweeney (25S),
Neighbors (711N) and Flowers (99) all challenging for the lead. This
continued form green flag to the checkered flag, with Flowers finally
taking the overall win coming out of turn four. Neighbors and Sweeney
would have to settle for the second and third spot. Lee (55) came to the
checkered in fourth and the 7W of Wally Walker rounding out the top
five.
Tony Albright (1) fights off the last two-lap shoot out challenge from
Richard Frost (15) and Gary Johnson (20), when the 11of Jimmy Shepherd
causes a caution on lap 18. Mike Chandler (51) was fighting for the lead
early in the race before he spins and has to go to the back of the pack.
R. Frost and Johnson finish second and third, with Gary Frost (F14)
taking the fourth spot while holding off Chandler, who finished in the
fifth spot.
The final feature of the night was in the Pro Street division. Caudle in
the RC1 took home the victory with Larry Hamm (93) having to settle for
second. Rounding out the top five were, Tommy Harris (98) in third, Curt
Cherry (11X) fourth and Larry Barber in the T54 bring home a top five
finish.
Nothing short of excitement tonight in all the classes at Clarksville
Speedway. We greatly appreciate those fans and drivers for coming out
this Fourth of July week of festivities at the racing complex. But not
without mentioning the sponsors who help make the racing action possible
every weekend. Hope to see all the fans and drivers back next weekend
for more racing.

6-28-03
- Racing excitement builds towards UMP Summer Nationals as Sweeney wins
another.
To
start off the night, we began our program with the Bud Points
Qualifying. In UMP Open
Wheel time trials, David Flowers set a time of 13.949 sec., to take the
fast time of the night. In
UMP Late Model time trials it was Randle Sweeney setting a time of
12.754 sec., on his second lap. Then
we timed the Pro Street Division, giving them a one lap shot at the
timer. It was Brian Caudle
showing the way with a time of 14.757.
The
first heat racing action was the Mini Mod Division.
They had one heat and the heat was won by 15 of Ronnie
Richardson. Soon
following the Mini’s were the UMP Open Wheels.
In
Open Wheel action, the quick six came on the track first to fight for
the front three rows. They
lined up as they timed, putting Flowers and Miller on the front row.
Flowers led the race from flag to flag.
In the heat race, Gerald Hodge in the 10 came from 5 th
to take the checkered flag at the finish.
Next
in heat race action was the Pro Streets.
They also have a quick six dash.
Larry Hamm won the dash in the 93.
Heat race #1 showed Timbo Birdwell in his 9 taking the flag on
the last lap. In heat
race # 2 we watched as Curt Cherry the 11x car stay out front to take
the win.
On
to the much anticipated event every night at Clarksville Speedway.
The UMP Late Models dash and heat races.
In the quick six dash we saw Sweeney and Rapp on the front row.
Sweeney never looked back from the drop of the green flag to the
checkered. In heat
race # 1 it was Wendell Bratton staying out in front of James Breeden
who started next to him the entire race to take the checkered.
In heat race # 2 we watched as Richard Frost 15 brought the field
to the green flag slow and easy, and then once the green came out it was
over. R. Frost never
had to worry about the rest as he used the Swartz to glide around to
victory.
Street
heat race action followed the Late Models.
Not your normal weekend he though.
Heat race # 1 saw Don Everett in the 9 car start on the pole and
end in the lead of the seven-car field.
Heat race # 2 Timmy Wilson who also drew the pole stayed out
front for the whole race. Heat
race # 3, then in this heat race we watched the points leader spin in
turn 3 and catch fire, ending his night and leaving Jennifer Larsen in
the J25 to take the victory over her field of cars.
After
an intermission we began our feature races off with the UMP Open Wheels.
Flowers showed us what the high groove looked like, as he slide
his way around the corners at the top of the track to take the Mid
Season Championship event for the Open Wheels. Flowers was followed
closely by Michael Lee in the 55 who did challenge he once or twice but
just didn’t have enough to get around him.
711N Mike Neighbors came home in third and Miller finished in
fourth.
Red
flag in the Street Stock Class.
The red flag was brought out when the 39X of Donald Cunningham
rode the front stretch wall and ended up going through the fence enough
to have to get it replaced. No
one was injured except maybe some pride.
The eventual winner, after we got stated again was the 45 of
Dorris McCord coming from fifth take the checkered flag tonight.
McCord was followed by Everett, Larsen, Buster Smith and Chad
Hembree to round out the top five.
The
UMP Late Model Mid Season Championship went to Randle Sweeney in the
Burr 33. Rapp who
started on the second row spun in turn two and caused the caution and
mover to the rear and never recovered.
Albright who started outside pole got tangled up ever so slightly
with Gary Frost in the F14 and that led to the eventual large lead that
Sweeney ended the night with.
Sweeney was followed by Albright, G. Frost, and R. Frost, and
Mike Chandler who in turn missed his quick six dash.
Following
the Late Models were the Pro Streets. In their action we saw the RC1 of
Brian Caudle coming home victorious in their Mid Season Championship
race, followed by Larry Hamm in second, Sammy Maxwell in third and
Cherry coming home in fourth. Don Young in the 41 rounded out the top
five.
The
last feature of the night was the Mini Mod class.
Ronnie Richardson led the entire race flag to flag, followed by
Brian Smith in the 13x, Dale McCord in third, Scotty McGovern in fourth
and Stan Ferry rounding out the top five.
Don’t
miss any of the racing action this week at Clarksville Speedway.
Wednesday night is the biggest race of our year with the UMP
Summer Nationals coming to town.
Thursday night at the strip for Import Night and Fireworks all
four nights. Friday
Night at the strip also, with 4 Top Fuel Dragsters and a Jet Car coming
in. Also Friday Night

6-21-03 - Clarksville Speedway. I
would like to start off by thanking all the fans, drivers and crews,
especially being the 1/2 price Military Wives' Night.
Mini Mods and Street Stocks
take center stage with Mid Season Championships.
Dale McCord, takes home the first spot in Mini Mods, and
Ronnie Richardson had the power in the second heat race. McCord
outlasts the 20 min. time limit for the Mid Season Championship feature
win, and holds on to the points lead with 1654 Pt's.
Clayton Miller sets fast time of 14.094, In the UMP Open Wheels but
runs wrong line and Mike Neighbors takes the last lap for the Dash win.
David Flowers pulls around for the 1st heat race. Heat race one
action saw David Flowers bbringshome the heat race winner. And from
halfway back in the pack is the feature winner of Michael Lee, but in
the points race it is David Flowers in the lead with 1589 Pt's.
Tony Albright sets fast time of 12.591 in the UMP
Late Models, and takes the quick six dash. I heat race # 1 it was Gary
Johnson capturing the win in smooth style, and heat race #2 win went to
David Miller. Albright in the familiar yellow Rayburn chassis
cruised to another victory for the season, but remains behind Gary Frost
in the points battle.
The Street Stock Mid Season Championship title went to
Dale Phillips. Heat race one went to "Girl Power"
Jennifer Larsen. Heat race two went to Jeff Joiner and three going to
Dale Phillips. Staying out front of the points lead once again
this week.
Last feature of the night went to Pro Street Division
this week with Curt Cherry showing the way. Quick six dash went to
Brian Caudle and Heat race one went to Skip Wilson. Heat race three was
won by Jeff Murphy. Larry Hamm is still showing the way in the
points battle.
Late Model, Open Wheels, and Pro Street divisions
Mid Season Championships Next Saturday. Thank you fans, drivers
and crews for another week of stock car racing in Clarksville, TN
6-7-03 - Proctor stays in the right groove to
take one home at Clarksville Speedway
Chalk one more good night of close racing
action for Clarksville Speedway fans. To start the night off we were
under the green flag of Bud Points qualifying. Taking the track first
were the UMP Open Wheels for their 2 lap time trials, with Randle
Sweeney (182) once again this weekend setting the fast time of 13.573
sec. an avg. speed of 66.308 mph avg. around the 1/4 mile circle. In UMP
Late Model time trials it was Tony Albright (1) setting the fast time of
12.481 sec. an avg. speed of 72.109 mph. The final qualifying round was
for the Pro Street Class. In their time trials it was Matt Potter (64)
speeding away with the fast time of 14.427 sec. an avg. speed of 62.383
mph.
With Bud timing finished it is time for heat race action starting
with the Mini Modified Class running two heat races. The winner of heat
race one was Ronnie Richardson (15) starting from the fourth spot.
Winner of heat race two was Kenny Knight (7) who started the race in
fifth.
First thing after Mini Mods were the UMP Open Wheel heats and quick
six dash. In the Dash we watched Clayton Miller (77) and Randle Sweeney
(182) battle for the one spot with Miller finally taking the checkered
flag. Heat race one went to “Chico” Charles Zimmerman (93) and Ricky
Knight (43) taking heat race two.
After the Open Wheels came the rolling thunder, hold on to your seat
action of the UMP Late Models. With Tony Albright (1) setting on the
pole of the Quick Six Dash and Proctor next to him we knew this was not
gonna be and easy one for either of them. Proctor took the win, but to
without a fight from the rest of the field. Heat race one went to Gary
Johnson (20), who beat out Mike Chandler who started on the pole. Heat
race two went to Richard Frost (15) who was late for the call to staging
after making some minor last minute changes and had to start from the
rear of the field. Looks like the changes worked.
Mike Neighbors (45), subbing for Dorris McCord, took heat race one
for the Street Stock Class after starting on the outside pole. “Go
Girl” Jennifer Larson (J25) took home the heat race two checkered flag
after she too started from the outside pole.
In the Pro Street quick six dash we witnessed Matt Potter (64) who
also set the fast time take the win. Heat race one went to Terrelton
Young (10), who if you haven’t noticed started from the outside pole.
Looks like the outside is the place to be. And once again in heat race
two, Lucas Lee (55) came from the outside pole to take a victory.
After a very short intermission we got started with our feature
races. Starting off the night was the Mini Modifieds. Ronnie Richardson
(15) took home the money tonight, with Dale McCord (31) bringing home
second spot. The 33 of Glenn Kirk was third, 55 of Thomas Clinard fourth
and the 7 of Kenny Knight rounding out the top five.
Caution after caution was the way the UMP Open Wheel feature went
with the fast time Pole Setter leaving the race at the half way point.
But the eventual winner would be Clayton Miller (77) taking the money
home tonight. Lucas Lee (55) brought home the second after starting
fifth, with the 82 of John Smithson bringing up third in his 82. Fourth
went to the 17 of Brett Wyatt and Mike Neighbors in the 711N rounding
out the top five.
Proctor (27) and Albright (1) fought all race long side by side after
each and every restart, Sweeney (33) and Frost (F14) on their tail all
20 Laps. Chuck Proctor holds on for the win, after choosing the low
groove. Albright finished a not so distant second as Proctor checked out
in the last 3-lap shoot out.
Randle Sweeney (33) finished the night in third, with Gary Frost
(F14) bringing home a good decent birthday gift, coming home in fourth
and Mike Chandler (51) taking fifth.
In Pro Street feature race action we saw the pole setter Matt Potter
(64) and Brian Caudle (RC1) get tangled up and ending Matt’s night on
the start. But with that it lead to Larry Hamm (93) being able to get
out front fast and stay there for the feature win. Coming home in second
was Tyrone Dossett (44), third went to the 11x of Curt Cherry. Fourth
